G.I. Joe Superbowl Spot

Okay. I'd planned on watching the Superbowl for 2 things and 2 things only. 1 of them is below. It's the trailer for this summers upcoming "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra". And you know what? Despite the lame X-Men rip-off costumes, it does look good. Snake Eyes looks amazing and even Destro sans cool silver mask and pimpin' chains just "feels" right. (I can't believe I just said that.) We shall see how this one turns out.

Oh! And that 2nd thing that I was watching the Superbowl for? The trailer for the classic-TV-show-turned-Wil Ferrell-vehicle "Land of the Lost". You'll notice which one I'm NOT posting here. 'Nuff said!

Of course if you really want to see it (and you know you do...it is "Land of the Lost" after all), click here. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

New Coraline Trailer

I came across this new Coraline trailer this morning. According to AintItCoolNews, it's director Henry Selick's favorite trailer. And, after watching it a couple times, I'd say it's my favorite so far as well. I haven't read the book (yet) but I hear it's creepy and this new trailer does look a lot more fun than the previous ones I've seen. It looks like I'll have another movie to sit next to the great Monster House in the "kid horror" section of my DVD shelf...plus it's in 3-D! Saaa-weeet!

Dr. Manhattan's 10th Anniversary

The coolest video I've seen for The Watchmen yet. I. Want. To. See. This. Movie.

New "Land of the Lost" Poster and Image

Okay. When I first saw the poster a few weeks ago, I was distraught. Literally. Land of the Lost was one of my favorite Saturday morning shows when I was a pre-teen and to say I'm not a huge fan of Will Ferrell would be an understatement. *ducks*.

However, this morning, I found an image of a sleestak from the film and it has renewed my interest in this somewhat. For those of you that don't know, the sleestaks are half dinosaur/half man creatures that were the villains of the series and they were friggin' awesome! So, it still may end up being full of stupid jokes and idiocy (I sincerely hope not) but at least the sleestaks can still look cool!

Click on either of the images to see them full size.
